ICE Set To Be 2018’s Largest Gaming EventHarry Coulter | 24 Nov 2017
Organisers of the ICE Totally Gaming event have revealed that they have added another 2,000 square metres to their floor space for this year’s expo, making for a total space of 43,500 square metres over which the highly anticipated event will take place. This is almost double the size of the space over which ICE 2012 was held, showing that organisers are getting ready for the largest ICE event yet early next year.
ICE 2018 will take place in February next year, and the expansion of its floor space is a clear demonstration of just how popular the international gaming event has become. This year, organisers were apparently overwhelmed by requests for stand space from both existing and new exhibitors. Furthermore, about 70% of this year’s event’s attendees are set to return next year, and will no doubt bring their colleagues and friends along to experience the renowned event as well.
Guests Drawn From Across The Globe
Even before event organisers had expanded ICE’s floor space, experts were predicting that it would be the biggest event in the gaming world in 2018. This year, over 30,000 guests attended the event from well over 150 countries, surfacing from a variety of sectors to network and view the latest industry innovations.
Experts and evangelists from the casino, bingo, betting, lottery, online, mobile, social and street gaming divisions were all drawn to ICE 2017, and the upcoming expo is set to draw at least as many visitors as it did early this year. Visitors will be able to view exhibitions and see the latest gaming industry developments, as well as experience hundreds of exciting new product launches over the 3-day event.
Networking, Seminars And Briefings
ICE 2018 will also offer invaluable networking opportunities, allowing guests to network with members of different gaming divisions and gain interesting insights from their competitors and peers. Past acquaintances may even be rekindled, and new business partnerships are likely to be forged.
Attendees will also be given the exclusive opportunity to attend ICE seminars, which are held on all three days of the event. These talks are hosted by numerous gaming experts with valuable and up-to-date info to share, keeping visitors updated with the latest industry happenings.
ICE 2017 included briefings on many global regions as well, including Japan, Africa and India, and the upcoming expo is set to offer even more in the way of these briefings as well. ICE Totally Gaming 2018 will take place from February 6-8 at ExCel in London.
